During September we were organizing models, clothes stylists and makeup artists for the photo shoot we were to be doing at Lithium Studios the following month. We had won the shoot at a demonstration evening so this was the first time we would work with Lithium, but after such a great experience it wouldn’t be the last.
Wendy and Simon were very helpful, keeping in touch throughout the planning stage, recommending clothes stylists, models and makeup artists they had worked with before, Simon even negotiated us a better price for the clothes stylist!
On the day we arrived at the studio, we were welcomed with a much needed coffee, a quick tour of where every thing would be taking place, (makeup room, styling station, photography etc.) and we were set to start.
The day ran so smoothly with no stress, just good fun. After a quick team briefing, each model was styled and photographed, and we were able to see the images immediately on Wendy’s Mac.
The studio itself is a beautiful building, with so much space and light, it was a great place to work in. The images that were produced on the day were amazing, every part of the brief had been met, they were exactly what we were hoping for.
We have done photo shoots before, but by far this was the least stressful and well organized, all with the help of Wendy and Simon. We were so pleased with the whole experience and aftercare that we are now planning our shoot for British Hairdressing Awards, and we wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else.

This full media and photographic studio is unbelievable. Wendy is a fantastic photographer, the studio and facilities are beautiful and the working atmosphere is a joy for creative people.
As soon as I started working with them I knew our creative passionate industry would love this location. The film and production arm for capture of anything from the days shoot to full educational DVD footage is a gem. Five miles from my home and I never knew it was there?
With Wendy’s husband Simon being a professional set builder the whole set up at Lithium is unbelievable. I would recommend them to anyone!
